City of Anthony, NM
4th Street Phase III- Infrastructure Improvements
Pre-Bid Opens Tuesday September 19th at 10:00am
Biding Closes Tuesday September 26th at 10:00am
Sealed bid proposal on forms prepared by Wilson and Company, Inc., E&A (hereinafter called Consultant) will be received by The City of Anthony, Projects Coordinator, Ms. Esther Motongo (hereinafter called “City” and “Owner”), at the City of Anthony, 820 Highway 478, Anthony NM 88021 until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Project is generally described as follows: Drainage and roadway improvements including full roadway reconstruction, new curb & gutter, sidewalk and a subsurface storm drain system
- Bidders must possess appropriate contracting license (GA-98 & GF-98 or other satisfactory classification) as regulated by Construction Industries Division, 2550 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505. Phone: (505) 476-4700.
- Resident/Veterans Bidder’s Preference do apply.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-bid conference will be conducted at, City of Anthony NM, City Hall- 820 Highway 478, Anthony, NM 88021 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
Bidding documents in electronic Adobe Portable Document Format (pdf) may be viewed or downloaded through the online Plan Room at http://www.wilsonco.com/plan-room at no charge. Contractors, Subcontractors, suppliers, etc. must register or log-in to view and/or download bidding documents. Printed copies of the bidding documents may be obtained upon request, at the office of the consultant, 414 N Main Street Las Cruces, NM; call (505) 348-4005 to place on order. Printed copies require a $150.00 refundable deposit, payable to Wilson & Company, Inc. The deposit will be refunded provided the bidding documents are returned to the consultant in good condition, un-marked or un-written, within ten (10) calendar days after the bid opening date.
Each proposal shall be submitted in accordance with the information for bidders and shall be accompanied by an acceptable Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, made payable to the City of Anthony, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds within ten (10) calendar days after award of the contract.
The City of Anthony reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.
Decisions of the State Labor Commissioner setting wage rates will be a part of the Contract
