Planning & Zoning Commission

The City of Anthony’s Planning and Zoning Commission meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Meetings are held at the Municipal Complex located at 820 Highway 478 Anthony, NM 88021. Should you wish to place an item on the P&Z agenda please contact the City Clerk at the above telephone number. All material must be in the Clerk’s office no later than a week prior to the meeting.

Copies of the Land Use Ordinance, Subdivision Design Standards Ordinance, etc. can be requested from the City Clerk’s office with ample time for a fee. These documents include a description of necessary procedure requirements as well as information needed to process your case. All subdivisions, new homes, new mobile home installations, renovations, any work involving city property such as sidewalks and curbs must have prior approval of the Planning & Zoning Commission. Failure to get obtain approval may result in stoppage and / or removal of your project and fines. Please check with our offices first.
