I-10 Nighttime Crack Sealing Operation
NMDOT insists drivers respect construction zone
LAS CRUCES – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One will begin a nighttime Crack Sealing operation on I-10 from Las Cruces to the Texas Stateline starting on Sunday August 15, 2021.
Traffic can expect lane closures starting eastbound on the inside lane moving to the westbound lanes from milepost 144 to 164(Texas Stateline), two lanes of traffic will remain open. These closures will be from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. daily. Speed limits will be reduced. Once the inside passing lane has been sealed crews will move to sealing both the middle and outside lanes as traffic allows.
